Laine With Her Dogs

Ms. Jacoby has over 30 years of experience in the Education field as both an educator and as an administrator. Most recently she was the Head of Lower School at Springside Chestnut Hill Academy a leading independent school with over 1100 students in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As an administrator, Ms. Jacoby supervised grades Pre-Kindergarten through Fourth Grade, 200 students, their families, and 30 faculty staff. She supervised and implemented all Lower School curriculum. Her responsibilities also included counseling with families and the school psychology resource team and leading all professional education development. Ms. Jacoby created and implemented an annual division budget, supported and worked closely with the Admissions team, and lead all Lower School communications. She is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools, the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Ms. Jacoby holds a BS in Art Education from Skidmore College and a Masters of Education from Chestnut Hill College. She was a Board Member of the Wissahickon Skating Club, treasurer of the Random Garden Club of Philadelphia, and a member of the Junior League.
